From time to time the Trust organises various events to raise awareness of its purpose and to attract new members. These are usually of a social nature that provide opportunities to preserve old acquaintances or make new friends. Lunch meetings too, with an eminent guest speaker of particular relevance to Nigeria, are organised as appropriate.

Annual General Meeting 2023
The next Annual General Meeting of the Britain-Nigeria Educational Trust will be held on Thursday 27th July 2023 in the Hall of India & Pakistan at The Royal Over-Seas League, Park Place London commencing at 3pm.
Our Guest Speaker will be His Excellency, Chief Sarafa Tunji Isola, the High Commissioner to the UK for Nigeria.
It will help us with arrangements if you would use this form to indicate if you will be attending or wish to have an apology recorded. As this meeting will again be ‘open’ to the public, there will be a nominal charge of £10 for all nonmembers, including guests of members attending as a contribution towards the Trust’s administrative costs.

Time will be allocated for questions after which the Meeting will close with light refreshments and tea or coffee.
The programme for the day will be:
- 2.30 – 3.00pm Members arrive and register
- 3.00 – 3.30pm Annual General Meeting Business
- 3.30 – 3.50pm Q&A Panel
- 3.50 – 4.30pm Refreshments and opportunity to meet with the Trustees
