With much pleasure, we are pleased to announce the appointment of His Excellency, Dr Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, OFR, CFR as a Vice Patron of the Trust.

At a farewell luncheon held in his honour on Monday 10 August, 2015 BNET Chairman David Brandler thanked the High Commissioner for his immense help and support for the Trust since his arrival in the United Kingdom on 12 April 2008.  On wishing him a safe return home the Chairman hoped Dr Tafida would continue to give that same support and guidance in Nigeria.  In acceptance Dr Tafida thanked the Chairman for the honour of being appointed a Vice Patron, which he accepted with pleasure, and for giving him the opportunity to continue his association with BNET and gave the assurance he would remain committed to the objectives of the Trust that had already done so much for the improvement of education in Nigeria.
