It is with deep gratitude to God and great delight that we draw the curtains on this short but activity-packed term and wish our children a most memorable Easter holiday.

We sincerely appreciate our old and new parents for entrusting us with the care and teaching of your most precious children. May God continue to help us to deliver excellent service always.

UPDATE OF ACTIVITIES DURING THE 2nd TERM – Our theme for the term is THE HUMAN BODY and the children were able to identify the parts of the human body and it’s function. They also learnt the anatomy of the hand and also the functions of the brain.

1. INTERNATIONAL DAY OF EDUCATION: The International Day of Education was celebrated on Friday 24th January. The children were addressed on the importance of education and how it plays a vital role in communication and understanding. The proprietress emphasized the importance of Education by telling the children of her experience in junior secondary school as a village girl who couldn’t understand or express herself in English, and how she was cheated.

1. PTA meeting took place on Saturday, 8th February, and we had the largest turnout of parents attending the Parents Teachers Association meeting. Many things were discussed regards the development of the school and how we can help the children learn better. The first P.T.A chairman was chosen after a vote in the person of Mr Oyeniran. A new staff was also introduced as the creche minder and a certified Nurse.

3. COLOUR PURPLE DAY: Tuesday 28th January was the reception and preschool classes colour purple day they dressed in purple , brought purple items and learnt a lot about the colour purple. They sang songs on purple colour and identified natural things that are purple.

4. OPEN DAY: Wednesday 19th February marked this term open day, parents interacted with class teachers on how to get the best out of their ward(s) we believe parents appreciated the opportunities provided to share in your children’s learning experiences.

5. HEALTH WEEK: For the first time we dedicated a week to Health Awareness Week. March 3rd-7th. Monday 3rd – Nutrition by The PTA Chairman, Tuesday – Hand washing day, Wednesday – Mental health talk by Dr. Kehinde Sodimu.Thursday – The first Aid Box and its content by Nurse Balogun, Thursday- Mental health talk by Dr. Kehinde Sodimu. All of the days were impactful, enlightening and educative.

6. EXCURSION: On Friday 7th March we took the children on an excursion to Emmanuel Park and also visited Open heavens gallery at the Redemption City Ogun state . The children had lots of fun.

7. CULTURAL DAY:  We ended the term with our cultural day on Friday 11th April. It was celebrated in a different way this session as we also dressed in some African country attire like : Uganda, Tanzania etc. it was an amazing and colourful day.

All the above were made possible by the kind and timely support of BNET through payment of tuition, textbooks for some of our pupils and donation of puzzles and story books to the school.
