Stella Maris is a mixed secondary school with a population of 200 girls and 185 boys.  It has both boarding and day facilities with a staff strength of 48.  The school’s Principal is Reverend Samuel Onose.

In July 2011 BNET approved a grant of £4,000 to enable the school complete the construction of its new library and laboratory complex and to furnish it with the necessary equipment.

This project was completed in time for the start of the school’s Spring Term, 2012.
